About the Ministry
Minister Sentemus Lassiter
A servant of the Gospel, walking alongside the weary with compassion and hope.
A life given to service
Minister Sentemus Lassiter is an ordained minister and a retired Army veteran whose heart is devoted to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Having served her country, she now gives herself to serving people—meeting them with the love of God in the moments that matter most.
Through T Lassiter Ministries, Minister Lassiter offers compassionate spiritual support to those who feel weary, afraid, or discouraged. This includes walking alongside people who are navigating mental health challenges, offering prayer, encouragement, and the hope found in Christ.
Her support is spiritual and pastoral in nature. It is offered alongside—not in place of—care from licensed medical and mental health professionals.
Whether in celebration, grief, illness, or a season of searching, her desire is the same: to help each person rest in God’s presence, hear His voice, and move forward in their calling.
Our Symbol
The Meaning of the Juniper Tree
In 1 Kings 19, the prophet Elijah reached a point of fear and exhaustion. Under a juniper tree, he rested and received nourishment through God’s provision. From there his journey continued—he encountered God’s direction and returned to his calling.
For T Lassiter Ministries, the juniper tree is a symbol of restoration: a place to rest, to be cared for, and to be strengthened for the journey ahead.
1 Kings 19:1–4
Fear and exhaustion
After threats against his life, Elijah fled into the wilderness. Afraid and worn out, he sat down under a juniper tree and asked that he might die.
1 Kings 19:5–8
Rest and provision beneath the juniper tree
There, under the tree, Elijah slept. An angel touched him and said, “Arise and eat,” and God provided bread and water. He rested, ate again, and went in the strength of that food toward Horeb, the mount of God.
1 Kings 19:9–18
God’s direction on the journey
Later, at Horeb, the Lord met Elijah—not in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire, but in a still small voice—and gave him direction for what came next.
1 Kings 19:19–21
Return to his calling
Strengthened and directed, Elijah went on his way, found Elisha, and continued the work God had given him.
Our Mission
T Lassiter Ministries exists to provide a place of restoration where weary souls encounter God’s love, receive compassionate care, and find renewed strength and purpose in Jesus Christ. Inspired by Elijah’s journey in 1 Kings 19:1–21, we walk alongside those facing exhaustion, fear, and discouragement—helping them rest in God’s presence, hear His voice, and move forward in their calling.
“Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.”
A place to rest. A place to be restored. Strength for the journey ahead.
God loves you, and so do we.
